Buzzcard Access

Please follow these instructions to gain Buzzcard access for your team members. Be aware to follow each instruction clearly to gain access efficiently.

Anyone needing door access must have a BuzzCard issued in 2015 or newer (blue banner on the front, no barcode). Anyone with an old BuzzCard can visit the BuzzCard Center and get a new card for free upon surrendering their old one.

Access for members is granted through an access package. You will need to specifically state the package you are requesting in your emails.

• 575F-GRP SCC without RoboJackets (if you are NOT RoboJackets, use this one)

  1. • • access to all SCC areas, exterior building doors, parking gate, etc.

• 575F-GRP SCC with RoboJackets (only for RoboJackets)

  1. • • all listed above, plus access to the RoboJackets space

FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

• 1. Compile one CSV with a list of GTIDs to be added per package (ONLY RoboJackets will ever submit two). You do not need to include names in the CSV, just GTIDs, per guidance from BuzzCard staff 01/2021.

  2. Email facilities@me.gatech.edu the above CSVs stating the access package you are requesting

• CC your team's faculty advisor on the email, who should then "reply all" to the email saying "Approved"

• Only CC Dr.C if there is an issue with the process that your advisor cannot solve
